Senior Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Handle GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and timely return filing.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation and monitor daily banking transactions.
• Maintain Sales, Purchase, Journal, Receipt, and Payment Entries.
• Prepare and verify Credit Notes and Debit Notes.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (Debtors) and Accounts Payable (Creditors).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Finalize books of accounts and assist in Balance Sheet preparation.
• Coordinate with auditors for Internal Audit, Statutory Audit, and Tax Audit.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial analysis for management.
• Verify invoices, vouchers, and accounting documents.
• Supervise junior accountants and ensure accurate accounting records.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, customers, and internal departments for smooth financial operations.

Required Skills:

• 7–10 years of accounting experience in a Manufacturing Company (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
• Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Expertise in Bank Reconciliation, Sales, Purchase, Journal, and Ledger Accounting.
• Experience in Credit Note, Debit Note, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Knowledge of Finalization of Accounts, Balance Sheet, and P&L.
• Experience in MIS Reporting and month-end/year-end closing.
• Good understanding of Inventory and Manufacturing Accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, Formulas).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with Auditors, Banks, Vendors, and Internal Departments.
• Experience in handling a team will be an added advantage.
