Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Insurance Claims Investigator to investigate insurance claims related to motorcycles, cars, and personal insurance policies. The role involves verifying claim authenticity, investigating accidents and incidents, identifying fraudulent claims, collecting evidence, conducting field investigations, and preparing detailed investigation reports to support insurance companies in making accurate claim decisions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Motorbike & Two-Wheeler Insurance Claims

Investigate motorcycle and scooter accident claims.

Verify accident circumstances, date, time, and location.

Inspect vehicle damage and verify accident-related information.

Conduct field visits and collect photographs and supporting evidence.

Verify repair bills, estimates, and other claim documents.

Identify suspicious or fraudulent claims.

2. Car & Four-Wheeler Insurance Claims

Investigate car accident and vehicle damage claims.

Verify accident details with the insured person, driver, and witnesses.

Conduct spot investigations and vehicle inspections.

Verify driving licences, RC books, insurance policies, and other documents.

Cross-check repair invoices and garage estimates.

Investigate theft, fire, accidental damage, and third-party claims.

3. Personal Insurance Claims

Investigate personal accident and injury claims.

Verify incident details and supporting documents.

Conduct interviews with claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties.

Verify medical records, bills, and supporting evidence where applicable.

Identify inconsistencies and potential fraudulent activities.

4. Investigation & Fraud Detection

Conduct physical and telephonic investigations.

Visit accident locations, hospitals, garages, and relevant addresses.

Collect statements, photographs, videos, and documentary evidence.

Verify the authenticity of submitted documents.

Identify discrepancies, misrepresentation, and suspicious claim patterns.

Maintain confidentiality throughout the investigation process.

5. Reporting & Documentation

Prepare detailed insurance investigation reports.

Submit investigation findings within the assigned timelines.

Provide factual observations and supporting evidence.

Coordinate with insurance companies, surveyors, garages, hospitals, and claim departments.

Maintain proper records of all investigation cases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate or equivalent qualification preferred.

Experience in insurance claims investigation, motor insurance, or field investigation preferred.

Knowledge of motor vehicle documents and insurance claim procedures.

Strong observation, communication, and analytical skills.

Ability to conduct field investigations and verify documents.

Basic computer knowledge and report-writing skills.

Willingness to travel for field investigations.

Honest, professional, and detail-oriented approach.
