Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the automobile/automotive industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling statutory compliance, and supporting management with financial reporting and analysis.

• Key Responsibilities
• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate and timely entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor and customer reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain sales invoices, purchase invoices, credit/debit notes, and payment records.
• Perform regular bank, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements.
• Maintain proper records of inventory, spare parts, automobile components, and related transactions.
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory accounting compliances as applicable.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents and supporting schedules.
• Assist with GST reconciliation, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting of expenses, purchases, sales, and payments.
• Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them promptly.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
