Job Description
- Customer Engagement & Sales: Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, recommend appropriate products, and guide them seamlessly through the purchasing decision.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of product features, pricing, warranties, and after-sales support to deliver live demonstrations or feature comparisons.
- Promotions & Cross-Selling: Inform shoppers about ongoing discounts, special offers, loyalty programs, and actively cross-complementary items to maximize average order value.
- Transaction Processing: Handle billing, cash registers, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and process exchanges or returns smoothly.
- Store Operations & Merchandising: Ensure shelves, racks, and displays are fully stocked, neat, visually appealing, and tagged with accurate pricing.
- Feedback & Reporting: Collect customer feedback, report fast-moving or defective items to the Store Manager, and track individual or team sales targets.
- 2. Essential Skills & QualificationsCommunication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal communication to build quick rapport, listen actively, and influence buyers persuasively.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude to resolve complaints or handle demanding customers gracefully.
- Target-Driven: Motivation to consistently hit or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas.
- Basic Math & Computer Skills: Proficiency in handling cash, calculating discounts, and operating computerized inventory/POS systems.
- Physical Stamina & Flexibility: Ability to stand for long periods, perform light lifting (stock management), and work flexible retail hours—including weekends, holidays, and shift work
