JOB DESCRIPTION

Designation: Security Guard

Location: Agamgarh, Shri Anandpur Sahib 140118

Reporting To: Security Supervisor / Security In-charge

1. Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of guests, employees, visitors, company property, and premises by maintaining vigilance and following security procedures.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor entry and exit points and maintain visitor records.
2. Verify visitors, guests, employees, and vendors as required.
3. Conduct regular security patrols to prevent theft and unauthorized access.
4. Maintain gate registers and other security-related records.
5. Monitor suspicious activities and report incidents immediately.
6. Ensure the safety of guests, employees, vehicles, and property.
7. Assist in managing vehicle entry, exit, and parking.
8. Respond promptly to emergencies and follow fire safety procedures.
9. Maintain proper uniform, personal grooming, punctuality, and discipline.
10. Coordinate with the Security Supervisor and other departments.
11. Complete shift handovers and report any security concerns.
12. Perform other security-related duties assigned by the reporting manager.

3. Eligibility Criteria

1. Preferred Qualification: Minimum 10th pass.
2. Language Preference: Punjabi-speaking candidates preferred.
3. Local Candidates: Candidates residing in or around Agamgarh and Shri Anandpur Sahib will be preferred.
4. Experience: Previous security experience preferred.
5. Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit, alert, and disciplined.
6. Availability: Must be willing to work in rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

1. Good observation and communication skills.
2. Honest, responsible, and punctual.
3. Ability to handle visitors and difficult situations calmly.
4. Basic knowledge of security procedures and emergency response.

2. Prevent and report unauthorized entry and suspicious activities.
3. Maintain accurate security records.
4. Follow company policies and instructions from the reporting manager.

Preferred Candidate: Local candidates with proficiency in Punjabi and Hindi
