Interior Designer

Role Summary

We need a creative and practical interior designer who can understand client needs, design functional and attractive kitchens and interiors, and carry the project smoothly from first meeting to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet clients, understand their lifestyle, budget and preferences, and convert them into clear design briefs.
• Visit sites, take accurate measurements, and record services such as plumbing, electrical and chimney points.
• Prepare space plans and kitchen layouts that are ergonomic and efficient (work triangle, storage planning, appliance placement).
• Create concept boards, 2D layouts, 3D views and renders, and present them confidently to clients.
• Recommend materials, finishes, hardware and accessories that suit the client's budget and the product range.
• Work with the sales team to prepare quotations and BOQs, and help close projects with accurate and transparent estimates.
• Hand over approved designs and measurements to the CAD and production team with complete specifications.
• Coordinate with site and installation teams, resolve design issues on site, and ensure the final result matches the approved design.
• Handle revisions, keep clients updated on progress, and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Keep up to date with trends in modular kitchens, materials and lighting.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of experience as an interior designer, with real exposure to kitchen and wardrobe design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and in a rendering tool such as 3ds Max with V-Ray, Enscape or Lumion. Photoshop and MS Office skills are expected.
• Good knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, construction details and site execution.
• Strong communication, presentation and client-handling skills in Hindi and English.
• Willing to travel to client sites within Delhi-NCR as needed.

Good to Have

• Experience in a modular kitchen manufacturer or a design-and-build interior firm.
• Basic knowledge of costing, BOQ preparation and project scheduling.
• A portfolio of completed kitchen and residential projects.
