Job Description
- Job ResponsibilitiesIdentify and evaluate suitable land for wind, solar, hybrid and BESS projects.
- Conduct land surveys and verify land ownership details.
- Coordinate with landowners, farmers, brokers and local authorities.
- Negotiate land purchase, lease agreements and compensation terms.
- Verify land records, including 7/12 extracts, 8A, mutation entries and property documents.
- Handle land acquisition, land leasing and registration processes.
- Coordinate with Talathi, Tehsildar, Sub-Registrar and Revenue Department officials.
- Ensure proper documentation and statutory compliance for land transactions.
- Assist in obtaining necessary NOCs, permissions and approvals.
- Resolve land-related disputes and ownership issues in coordination with the legal team.
- Maintain accurate records of land acquisition and project documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits and prepare progress reports.
- Coordinate with project, legal and management teams for timely land acquisition.
- Support right-of-way (ROW) permissions and access-road arrangements.
- Ensure timely completion of land acquisition activities as per project requirements.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of land acquisition and revenue procedures in Maharashtra.
- Understanding of 7/12 extracts, mutation records and land registration.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with landowners and government authorities.
- Knowledge of renewable energy project land requirements.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project sites.
- Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi and basic English.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Candidate RequirementsGraduate in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in land acquisition or liaisoning.
- Experience in wind or solar energy projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of Maharashtra land laws and revenue records.
