Field Sales Executive

1. Position Overview

The Sales Executive will be responsible for field sales, lead generation, and prospective customer acquisition for Escorts Kubota Diesel Generator Sets (DG Sets) across Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati districts. The role involves identifying power backup requirements across commercial, industrial, hospitality, and residential sectors, conducting onsite assessments, preparing quotations, and closing sales.

Target Territory Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, and Gajapati Districts

Education Qualification Minimum Graduation in any stream (B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical preferred)

Experience Required 0 – 3 Years (Freshers with strong aptitude are welcome)

Mandatory Requirement Own Two-Wheeler with a valid Driving License (Compulsory)

Language Proficiency Odia, Hindi, and basic English

2. Key Roles&Responsibilities

 Field Prospecting & Lead Generation: Actively canvass commercial complexes, hotels/resorts in Puri, industrial plants in Khurda, and stone/granite processing units and commercial hubs in Ganjam and Gajapati.

 Site Visits & Need Assessment: Conduct regular field visits to meet site engineers, electrical contractors, facility managers, and business owners to evaluate exact kVA power backup requirements.

 Proposals & Technical Quotes: Prepare and present commercial quotations and technical datasheets based on Escorts Kubota product specifications and CPCB IV+ compliance standards.

 Sales Closure & Order Processing: Negotiate terms, convert sales opportunities into confirmed orders, and coordinate seamlessly with internal service and logistics teams for installation and commissioning.

 Payment Collection: Drive timely collection of customer receivables and ensure strict adherence to agreed payment terms.

 Daily Reporting & CRM: Maintain structured daily activity logs, client visit details, and pipeline progress in the sales tracker.

3. Candidate Profile&Key Competencies

 Freshers & Experienced: Energetic freshers with high drive and passion for field sales, as well as candidates with up to 3 years in industrial/electrical sales, are encouraged to apply.

 Vehicle & License: Must possess an owned two-wheeler with a valid driving license (non-negotiable requirement).

 Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of or keen interest in mechanical/electrical capital equipment (generators, panels, switchgears).

 Territory Knowledge: Strong geographical knowledge of Khurda, Puri, Ganjam, or Gajapati districts.
