Job Description
We are looking for passionate and dedicated Commis (I / II / III) to join our kitchen team. The candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and support smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, cooking, and plating as per standard recipes
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and follow food safety standards
- Support senior chefs during service hours
- Handle basic cutting, chopping, and ingredient preparation
- Ensure proper storage of ingredients (FIFO method)
- Minimize food wastage and follow portion control standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Assist in receiving and checking kitchen stock supplies
- Follow instructions from senior chefs and adhere to kitchen SOPs
