FINISHING ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Finishing Engineer to supervise and execute finishing activities for our premium villa project, ensuring high-quality workmanship, timely completion, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise villa finishing works, including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, waterproofing, doors, windows, and fixtures.
• Ensure quality standards, approved drawings, and timely execution of finishing activities.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, MEP, QA/QC, Procurement, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and construction progress reporting; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Manage labour productivity, material requirements, site progress, and minimize wastage.
• Conduct quality inspections, rectify defects, manage snag lists, and ensure timely villa handover.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Maintain daily progress reports and ensure site safety compliance.
• Quality compliance and reduction in rework and material wastage.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in civil construction finishing works, preferably in premium residential or villa projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials, construction drawings, quality control, and site execution.
• Experience in contractor coordination, labour management, and finishing quality inspections.
• Reporting & Coordination Reports To: Project Manager / Project Head.
• Coordinates With: Site Engineers, Planning, MEP, QA/QC, Procurement, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Team Supervision: Finishing contractors, site supervisors, and skilled and unskilled workers.
• Timely completion of finishing activities as per project schedule.
