Job Description
Looking for a Insurance Sales Manager with up to 3 years of experience typically acts as a frontline team leader or senior sales executive responsible for driving policy sales, recruiting/coaching junior agents or advisors, and meeting regional revenue goals.
Job Summary
The Insurance Sales Manager drives the growth of life, health, or general insurance products through specific channels (such as agency, direct, or partner networks). At the 1-to-3-year experience level, the role focuses heavily on field execution, lead conversion, advisor/agent recruitment, and hands-on sales coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Revenue Targets: Own and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/premium targets for assigned insurance products.
- Team & Advisor Management: Recruit, onboard, train, and mentor a small team of sales agents, advisors, or direct-to-consumer reps.
- Field Sales & Lead Conversion: Make daily field/client calls, follow up on generated leads, and assist team members in closing crucial sales pitches.
- Policy Renewals & Persistency: Track and improve policy renewals and portfolio persistency to ensure long-term client retention.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor sales pipelines, conversion rates, and daily activity metrics, reporting performance data to the Branch or Regional Sales Manager.
