Interior Site Engineer

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detailed-oriented and proactive Interior Site Engineer to manage and oversee the on-site execution of residential and commercial interior fit-out projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between design concepts and physical execution, ensuring work is completed accurately according to 2D/3D drawings, within budget, on schedule, and to high-quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution: Oversee daily interior execution activities, including civil modifications, drywall/partition work, carpentry, ceiling setup, flooring, electrical, plumbing, and painting.
• Drawing Interpretation: Read and implement architectural, interior layout, elevation, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing), and shop drawings accurately on-site.
• Quality & Finishing Control: Conduct routine site inspections to ensure finishing work (joinery, veneers, tiling, fixtures) meets high quality standards and design specifications.
• Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with carpenters, MEP technicians, painter teams, and specialty vendors to maintain sequence of work and labor efficiency.
• Material Management: Inspect incoming materials for specification compliance, monitor inventory, minimize site wastage, and manage store requisitions.
• Timeline & Progress Tracking: Track project milestones against schedules, update daily/weekly progress reports (DPRs), and proactively resolve site bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary technical contact between interior designers, project managers, clients, and contractors.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and cleanliness protocols across the interior site.
• Requirements & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in interior fit-outs, residential, or commercial turnkey interior site management.
• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings, 3D renders, and technical BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
• Sound knowledge of interior materials (plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, paints, tiles, glass) and execution techniques.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office / Excel for site tracking and reporting.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, vendor coordination, and verbal communication skills.
