Picker / Packer

Key ResponsibilitiesPicking

• Pick products accurately as per customer orders using the handheld device/scanner.
• Ensure the correct ASIN/SKU, quantity, batch, and expiry are picked.
• Follow the prescribed picking path and maintain required productivity and SLA.
• Report damaged, expired, missing, or misplaced products immediately.
• Ensure proper handling of chilled, frozen, fragile, and other temperature-sensitive products.

Packing

• Pack customer orders accurately as per the defined SOP and packing standards.
• Verify SKU, quantity, and order details before sealing the order.
• Use appropriate packaging material to prevent damage or leakage.
• Ensure orders are properly labelled and handed over within the required SLA.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packing area.

Inventory & Store Operations

• Support stock counting, bin audits, reconciliation, and inventory accuracy activities.
• Ensure products are placed in the correct bins and locations.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO and expiry management procedures.
• Support replenishment, put-away, and other store operational activities as required.

Compliance & Safety

• Strictly follow all company SOPs, safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and operational processes.
• Maintain personal hygiene and use required PPE wherever applicable.
• Immediately escalate any inventory discrepancy, safety issue, or process deviation to the Shift In-Charge/DSM.
• Maintain 5S and overall store cleanliness.

• Basic smartphone/handheld scanner knowledge.

• Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and peak periods.
• Good teamwork, discipline, and communication skills.
• Qualification & ExperienceEducation: 10th / 12th pass preferred.
• Experience: Freshers can apply; prior experience in warehouse, e-commerce, retail, or quick-commerce operations is preferred.
• Age: As per applicable company requirements.
• Working ConditionsFast-paced dark-store/warehouse environment.
• Rotational shifts and weekly offs.
• Standing/walking for extended periods may be required.
• May involve handling products and cartons as per safety guidelines.
