Job Description

  • Sales & Business Development: Identify, prospect, and win new B2B clients, system integrators, panel builders, and OEM accounts. [1, 2, 3]
  • Technical Consultation: Understand customer machinery/process requirements and recommend appropriate VFDs, PLCs, HMIs, servo drives, and industrial sensors (proximity, pressure, temperature, photoelectric). [1, 2]
  • Quotations & Tenders: Prepare technical proposals, cost estimations, commercial offers, and follow up on active tender pipelines. [1, 2]
  • Demonstration & Support: Coordinate product selections, pre-sales sizing, and basic technical troubleshooting with internal application engineering teams
  • Common Titles: Sales Engineer – Industrial Automation, Technical Sales Executive, Field Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager (VFD & Drives). [1, 2, 3]
  • Industry Sector: Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, Electrical & Instrumentation, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) supply, and Process Control. [1, 2, 3]
  • Experience Level: Usually 2 to 6+ years (entry-level or fresher roles are sometimes labeled as Sales Support or Application Engineers)
