Job Description
- Assess patients' physical and emotional health and develop individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition, reporting any changes promptly.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure infection prevention and control protocols are followed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide basic or advanced life support as required.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, nursing standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, training programs, and continuing education.
