Video Editor

Job OverviewWe are seeking a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our media production team. In this role, you will transform raw footage, audio assets, motion graphics, and visual elements into high-quality, engaging videos for YouTube, social media platforms, broadcast, and internal campaigns.

The ideal candidate possesses strong narrative judgment, an eye for pacing, and technical expertise across editing suites. You should thrive in a collaborative environment and be comfortable taking projects from initial brief and rough cut through color grading, sound design, and final export.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Editorial: Review, organize, and assemble raw footage into cohesive, well-paced video cuts aligned with the overall creative direction and storyboards.
• Platform Optimization: Tailor edits and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) for specific platforms, including YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, LinkedIn, and corporate channels.
• Audio Engineering & Sound Design: Edit dialogue, synchronize multi-camera footage, select sound effects, balance audio levels, and select background music tracks.
• Color Correction & Grading: Perform primary and secondary color correction to maintain visual continuity and set the desired aesthetic tone.
• Motion Graphics & Titles: Add lower thirds, text overlays, captions, transitions, and basic 2D motion graphics (e.g., using After Effects).
• Workflow & Revisions: Work closely with directors, producers, and marketers to incorporate feedback efficiently across multiple revision cycles while maintaining organized file structures.
• Requirements & QualificationsExperience: 2–4+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Technical Mastery: High proficiency with NLE software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Basic to intermediate skills in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, and Audition.
• Visual Storytelling: Solid grasp of pacing, rhythm, visual hierarchy, continuity editing, and narrative structure.
• Audio & Color Competency: Strong understanding of audio mixing, noise reduction, and color-grading workflows.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of video codecs, bitrates, frame rates, color spaces, export settings, and file management standard practices.
• Portfolio/Reel: A strong showreel or portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, edits, and technical execution.
• Nice-to-HavesBasic videography or camera operator experience.
• Experience with 3D modeling/animation (Blender, Cinema 4D).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted post-production workflows (automated captioning, audio enhancement, text-based editing).
