Accountant

Job Summary

The accountant maintains financial records, prepares accurate financial reports, and reconciles bank statements. This role ensures that all financial operations run smoothly, taxes are paid correctly and on time, and internal controls are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement).
• Data Maintenance: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions to ensure data accuracy.
• Compliance & Taxes: Prepare and file local, state, and federal tax returns. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS.
• Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and workflows.
• Budgeting: Collaborate with management to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
