Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, ensure statutory compliance, and assist with financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in accounting software.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and expense records.
• Perform bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Assist with GST returns, TDS calculations, and other statutory compliance.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and expense summaries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and tax assessments.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on receivables.
• Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, customers, and auditors.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data and compliance with company policies.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and applicable statutory regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
• Good communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
