Business Consultant – Interior Showroom Sales

About the Job

Novus Décor is hiring a Business Consultant for its premium JP Nagar showroom. You will advise walk-in customers, recommend the right products and finishes, and guide them through to closing. If you have sold interior products or furniture and enjoy talking design with homeowners, designers and architects, this role is for you.

Your Responsibilities

• Welcome walk-in customers and handle inbound enquiries at the showroom
• Understand each customer’s requirements, budget, space, timeline and decision-makers
• Advise on materials, finishes, colours, space planning, furniture and décor
• Present products to first-time customers in clear, simple language
• Handle price objections by explaining the product’s value
• Follow up consistently on high-value, long-cycle sales
• Build relationships with interior designers, architects, contractors and premium homeowners
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
• Keep daily reports, enquiry logs and pipeline updates accurate
• Keep the showroom display and your product knowledge up to date

Who Can Apply

• 2–3 years of sales experience in interior products, furniture, décor, modular solutions or similar design-led categories
• Interior design diploma, degree or hands-on exposure
• A record of closing high-value sales and meeting targets
• Confident discussing materials, finishes, colour palettes and space planning
• Strong communication, presentation and objection-handling skills
• Willing to commute to the JP Nagar showroom daily
• Stable career history and a reasonable notice period
• Good to have: experience working with designers, architects, contractors or premium homeowners
