Job Summary

We are seeking a Café Staff member who can prepare basic food items, coffee, and cold beverages while maintaining high standards of hygiene, consistency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should be energetic, quick to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.

Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation:

• Prepare South Indian filter coffee, espresso-based coffee, tea, and other hot beverages.
• Prepare cold beverages such as cold coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, iced teas, mojitos, and boba drinks.
• Ensure every beverage is prepared according to standard recipes.

Food Preparation

• Prepare basic café food items such as:
• Maggi varieties
• Sandwiches
• Momos
• French fries
• Garlic bread
• Rice bowls
• Simple snacks and quick-service items
• Maintain consistency in taste and presentation.

Kitchen Operations

• Prepare ingredients before opening (mise en place).
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about shortages.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper food storage practices.
• Minimize wastage and maintain portion control.

Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, beverage station, and dining area.
• Follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ensure utensils, equipment, and workstations are cleaned regularly.
• Wear appropriate uniform and maintain personal hygiene.

Customer Service

• Greet customers politely and take orders when required.
• Handle customer requests professionally.
• Maintain a positive and friendly attitude.
• Cash & POS (Preferred)Operate the billing/POS system.
• Handle digital and cash payments accurately.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in a café, restaurant, cloud kitchen, or quick-service restaurant (Freshers with the right attitude are welcome).
• Basic cooking skills.
• Ability to prepare coffee and cold beverages (training will be provided if required).
• Good communication skills in Kannada, English, or Hindi.
• Ability to work under pressure during peak hours.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with espresso machines or commercial coffee equipment.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Basic inventory management skills.
