Cake Decorator

1. Production & Product Preparation

 Prepare and produce bakery products as per approved recipes and standards.

 Independently prepare regular cakes, pastries, tubs, cupcakes and other assigned products.

 Follow recipes, portion sizes, yields and production methods accurately.

 Complete assigned production within the required timelines.

2. Cake & Product Finishing

 Carry out basic cake finishing and decoration as per product standards.

 Custom cake decoration is not a mandatory skill for this role.

 Ensure products are finished neatly and consistently.

3. Product Quality

 Maintain Crave by Leena's standards for taste, consistency, correct sponges, appearance weight and

portioning.

 Check products before completion and report any quality issues to the CDP/DCDP.

 Minimise errors, remakes and avoidable wastage.

4. Hygiene & Food Safety

 Follow company hygiene and SOP requirements at all times.

 Follow FSSAI food safety and hygiene practices.

 Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards.

 Keep workstations, equipment and production areas clean and organised.

 Follow correct food handling, cross contamination, storage and temperature-control practices.

5. Teamwork & Coordination

 Work closely with the CDP, DCDP and Commis 1 to ensure smooth production.

 Follow daily task assignments and coordinate with the team to complete production on time.

 Communicate any production delays, shortages or issues immediately.

6. General Responsibilities

 Take responsibility for completing assigned tasks on time.

 Use ingredients and equipment responsibly and minimise wastage.

 Report equipment issues, ingredient shortages and production problems immediately.

 Comply with all company policies, SOPs and food safety requirements.

 Perform any additional duties assigned by the CDP, DCDP or Management.
