Job Description
- Roles and ResponsibilitiesHandle daily cash receipts and payments accurately.
- Collect payments from customers and issue receipts.
- Maintain daily cash books and transaction records.
- Verify cash balances and reconcile them with system records at the end of each day.
- Deposit cash into the bank as per company procedures.
- Process customer payments through cash, UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and other approved payment methods.
- Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the Accounts Manager.
- Ensure the safe custody of cash and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Identify and report cash discrepancies or transaction errors immediately.
- Coordinate with the Accounts, Sales, and other departments regarding payments and receipts.
- Maintain supporting documents, vouchers, invoices, and payment receipts.
- Follow company policies, financial procedures, and internal control guidelines.
