Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer with 5–7 years of experience to oversee civil and finishing works at project sites. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, coordination with contractors and consultants, and ensuring timely completion of assigned works.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day civil and construction activities at project sites.

Execute civil works including block work, plastering, flooring, tiling, waterproofing, painting and finishing works.

Read and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings.

Coordinate with architects, designers, contractors, vendors and project teams.

Ensure all works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per schedule.

Prepare daily site reports and update project progress to the Project Manager.

Check quantities, measurements and material requirements at site.

Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors and monitor their work.

Identify site issues and coordinate with the concerned teams for timely resolution.

Ensure proper utilization of manpower and materials at the site.

Conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Monitor material delivery, storage and consumption at site.

Prepare measurement sheets, BOQs and work completion reports.

Support billing and verification of contractor bills based on actual site measurements.

Ensure proper handover and completion of assigned project activities.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of civil construction and finishing works.

Good understanding of construction drawings and specifications.

Strong site execution and contractor management skills.

Knowledge of estimation, quantity calculation and BOQ.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.

Good knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

5–7 years of relevant experience in construction, interiors or civil project execution.

Candidates with experience in residential/commercial interior projects will be preferred.
