🎯 JOB SUMMARY

The Dreaming Tree is looking for an experienced Pan Asian Commis 1 to join our professional kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing dishes from East, Southeast, and South Asian cuisines, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine.

The candidate will support daily kitchen operations, food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🥢 Pan Asian Food Preparation

• Prepare and cook Pan Asian dishes as per established recipes and kitchen standards.

• Handle ingredients and preparation for Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and other Asian dishes.

• Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations.

🔪 Kitchen Operations

• Perform cutting, chopping, slicing, marinating, steaming, deep-frying, and other cooking preparations.

• Maintain proper mise en place before service.

• Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and ready for service.

🍜 Cooking & Quality

• Follow recipes, portion sizes, cooking methods, and presentation standards.

• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.

• Assist with introducing and testing new Pan Asian recipes where required.

🧼 Hygiene & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, utensils, and kitchen areas.

• Follow food hygiene and safety standards at all times.

• Ensure proper handling and storage of food ingredients.

🤝 Team Support

• Coordinate with senior chefs and kitchen team during preparation and service.

• Support smooth kitchen operations during busy service hours.

• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and efficiency within the kitchen.

⭐ IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on Pan Asian chef with at least 2 years of kitchen experience and a strong understanding of Asian cooking techniques.

Experience in Chinese, Japanese, Thai, or broader Pan Asian cuisine will be highly preferred. The candidate should be hardworking, disciplined, hygiene-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional kitchen.

💰 SALARY & INCENTIVES

Fixed Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000/month

As per skill and experience

🔥 Incentive: ₹2,500+
