Job Description
A Customer Care Representative (CCR) is responsible for helping customers before, during, and after they use a company's products or services. Common roles and responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media.
- Resolving customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Providing accurate information about products, services, pricing, and policies.
- Processing orders, returns, exchanges, refunds, or cancellations.
- Updating and maintaining customer records in the company's system.
- Escalating complex issues to supervisors or specialized departments when necessary.
- Following up with customers to ensure issues have been resolved satisfactorily.
- Building positive relationships with customers through courteous and empathetic communication.
- Meeting performance metrics such as response time, customer satisfaction (CSAT), and first-call resolution.
Identifying customer needs and, when appropriate, recommending relevant products or services.
