Job Description
Roles:
Area Sales Managers (ASM)
Role Objective:
Own and grow revenue across pharmaceutical plants in the assigned territory
by managing key accounts & distributors.
Reporting to
Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Team Structure:
ASM’s: Handle 2–4 BDEs + Distributors + Key Pharma Accounts
KRAs
• Achieve monthly & annual territory sales targets
• Acquire new pharma plants and expand existing accounts
• Conduct technical discussions, trials & validations
• Work with QA/QC/Production/Procurement teams
• Drive distributor billing & secondary sales
• Lead and coach
• Ensure collections & commercial hygiene
• Track competitor activity & pricing
Experience Required
ASM:
• 5–8 years B2B / Pharma / Industrial sales
• Experience selling to pharma plants preferred
• Distributor handling experience mandatory
