Job Description

  • Candidate Requirements:Graduation is mandatory.

  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and data handling is preferred.
  • Prior experience in Fraud Investigation, Risk Operations, KYC, AML, Banking, FinTech, Fraud Prevention or Back-Office Operations can be an advantage.
  • Hike 30% based on Previous CTC
  • Fraud InvestigationInvestigate new applications to identify potential fraudulent activity.
  • Review customer/application information for inconsistencies, suspicious patterns, or red flags.
  • Analyse application details and supporting information to determine the legitimacy of applications.
  • Identify possible identity fraud, document discrepancies, application fraud and other suspicious activity.
  • Data & Background ResearchUse internal databases and external data sources to conduct investigations.
  • Cross-check customer and application information across multiple sources.
  • Research suspicious profiles, transactions, applications, or associated information.
  • Identify connections and patterns that may indicate fraudulent behaviour.
  • Case HandlingManage assigned investigation cases independently within defined productivity and quality targets.
  • Review cases according to established fraud investigation guidelines.
  • Make appropriate recommendations based on investigation findings.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the Fraud Leader/Manager.
  • Documentation & ReportingMaintain detailed records of investigation findings.
  • Clearly document the investigation methodology and decision-making process.
  • Record evidence, observations, discrepancies and final determinations accurately.
  • Ensure all case documentation meets quality and compliance requirements.
  • Quality & ComplianceFollow established policies, procedures and quality assurance guidelines.
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail while reviewing cases.
  • Ensure investigation decisions are consistent with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Protect confidential customer and business information.
  • Fraud Trend IdentificationIdentify recurring fraud patterns, suspicious trends and emerging fraud techniques.
  • Report unusual trends and issues to the Fraud Leader.
  • Support the team in developing preventive measures against new fraud patterns.
  • Process ImprovementSupport existing fraud investigation processes.
  • Participate in implementing new processes, policies and procedures.
  • Suggest improvements to increase investigation efficiency, accuracy and turnaround time.
  • Assist in testing and implementing new fraud prevention initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with other Fraud, Risk, Operations and relevant business teams.
  • Understand new products, services and customer processes.
  • Build effective relationships with internal departments.
  • Share investigation insights with relevant stakeholders.
