• Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations ManagementOversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock replenishment, and merchandising standards.
• Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies.
• Manage product availability and minimize stock losses/shrinkage.
• Sales & Customer ServiceDrive store sales and achieve monthly revenue targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Implement promotional activities and in-store marketing initiatives.
• Analyze sales trends and take corrective actions to improve performance.
• Team LeadershipLead, coach, and motivate store staff to achieve operational and sales goals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage employee scheduling, attendance, and productivity.
• Ensure effective onboarding and training of new team members.
• Inventory & Vendor ManagementMonitor stock movement and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers and warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Minimize wastage, especially in fresh and perishable categories.
• Financial ManagementManage store expenses and maintain profitability.
• Monitor cash handling, billing processes, and daily reconciliations.
• Prepare and share periodic operational and sales reports with management.
• Desired Candidate ProfileBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Commerce, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail store management, preferably in supermarkets, grocery retail, FMCG, or organic food retail.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory control, and customer service.
• Proven experience in team management and achieving sales targets.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
