Job Description
Advanced Home Caregiver – C2
Company: MITRA Home Care
Location: Bengaluru
Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in any stream
Experience: Freshers can apply
MITRA is hiring graduates and diploma holders for home caregiving roles. Medical qualification or previous caregiving experience is not compulsory. Selected candidates will receive training before placement.
Salary
12-hour duty: ₹25,000/month
24-hour live-in duty: ₹30,000/month + food and accommodation provided by the family
Salary is paid directly by the family.
Job Responsibilities
- Help elderly or dependent patients with bathing and personal hygiene
- Toilet and diaper assistance
- Help with feeding and drinking water
- Assist with walking, transfers and positioning
- Care for bedridden patients
- Check basic vitals such as BP, pulse, temperature and oxygen level after training
- Give medication reminders
- Provide companionship and supervision
- Maintain basic patient-care updates
- Report any change in the patient’s condition
- Follow the patient’s care plan and family instructions
This is NOT a nursing role
You will not be expected to perform:
- Injections
- IV procedures
- Wound dressing
- Catheter or Ryles tube procedures
- Medication administration
- Any skilled nursing procedure
Who Can Apply
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any stream
- Freshers can apply
- Medical background is not required
- Should be comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Good communication and responsible behaviour
- Willing to work at patient homes in Bengaluru
- Should be willing to work 12-hour or 24-hour shifts
- Basic smartphone knowledge
Training & Selection
Candidates must complete MITRA caregiving training and practical assessment.
Training will include:
- Personal hygiene and diaper care
- Feeding
- Patient positioning and transfers
- Bedridden patient care
- Basic vitals
- Patient safety
- Communication
- Recognising warning signs
- Role boundaries
Only candidates who successfully clear the assessment will be added to the MITRA verified caregiver pool and considered for suitable family placements.
