Installation Engineer

Technical Execution

• Lead complex and first-of-kind installations across all program types — commercial clients,

institutional sites, and government buildings.

• Own the installation process standard — step-by-step sequence, wall preparation, bracket fixing,

electrical connection, and QC checklist across all three configuration types: T-Wall Mount, T-Pod

Stand, and T-Hut.

• Directly supervise Harsha (Senior Field Tech), Rohit, and Lal Ahmad. Assign daily site tasks and

review completion quality.

Training and Partner Quality

• Conduct technical training for O&M partner technicians before any partner-led installation begins.

Maintain training attendance records.

• Perform QC inspection on a minimum 20% sample of all installations completed by O&M partner

crews each week.

• Define and update the pass/fail QC checklist as site learnings accumulate — particularly for aged

or non-standard wall conditions encountered in institutional and government buildings.

Operations Scale-Up | Hiring Plan

• Flag any recurring failure patterns to the Head of Operations and Product team. First-pass QC

rejection rate is a tracked metric.

Site Assessment

• Lead site survey visits for new clients and programs — assess wall condition, installation type,

power point proximity, exhaust routing, and access constraints.

• Complete the Site Survey Form and classify each site as READY, CONDITIONAL, or REJECTED

before any installation is scheduled.

• No installation is scheduled without a completed, approved site survey on file.

Process Ownership

• Maintain the installation SOP across all three machine configurations. Ensure all field staff — Neo

San and O&M partner — are trained to the current version.

• Report daily installation progress to Ops Manager. Escalate any site-level technical blocker

same-day.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate in any discipline. Engineering, ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil engineering

preferred.

• 3–5 years of field installation experience — electrical fixtures, industrial equipment, or building

hardware.
