Interior Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to design functional, attractive, and practical interior spaces. The candidate will be responsible for understanding client requirements, developing design concepts, preparing layouts and drawings, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating with vendors and site teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements, preferences, budget, and design expectations.
• Develop creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces.
• Prepare space planning, layouts, 2D drawings, 3D designs, and presentations.
• Select suitable furniture, materials, colors, lighting, fabrics, and finishes.
• Prepare BOQs, estimates, and material specifications when required.
• Coordinate with contractors, carpenters, vendors, architects, and site teams.
• Visit project sites to monitor work progress and ensure design accuracy.
• Ensure projects are completed within the agreed timeline and budget.
• Make design modifications based on client feedback and site requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of current interior design trends, materials, and products.
• Ensure quality, functionality, safety, and aesthetic standards are maintained.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience in residential or commercial interior design is preferred.
• Good knowledge of space planning, furniture layouts, materials, and finishes.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Revit, or similar design software.
• Strong creativity, visualization, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of budgeting, estimation, and project execution will be an advantage.
