Laundry Associate will be responsible for garment care activities including washing, stain removal, dry cleaning coordination, ironing, folding, quality inspection, and preparing orders for customer delivery. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to garment care standards.

Key Responsibilities Washing Operations

• Sort garments based on fabric type, color, and washing requirements.
• Operate washing and drying machines according to standard procedures.
• Use appropriate detergents, chemicals, and fabric care products.
• Inspect garments before and after washing for stains or damages.

Dry Cleaning Operations

• Identify garments requiring dry cleaning.
• Perform pre-treatment and stain removal procedures.
• Operate or coordinate dry-cleaning processes safely.
• Ensure garments are cleaned according to fabric specifications.

Ironing & Finishing

• Iron and steam garments to achieve a professional finish.
• Fold, package, and tag garments accurately.
• Ensure garments are wrinkle-free and presentation-ready.
• Handle delicate fabrics with care.

Quality Control

• Conduct final inspection of garments for cleanliness and finishing quality.
• Report damaged garments or operational issues immediately.
• Maintain customer order accuracy and prevent mix-ups.

Workplace Maintenance

• Keep workstations and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and company operating procedures.
• Assist in inventory management of detergents, chemicals, and packaging materials.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 10th Pass / PUC preferred.
• Experience in laundry, dry cleaning, housekeeping, or garment care preferred.
• Ability to identify fabric types and garment care instructions.
• Knowledge of stain removal techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical work.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Preferred Experience1-3 years of experience in commercial laundry, dry cleaning, hotel laundry, or garment care operations.
