We work primarily with expecting mothers, newborn mothers, and families, providing them with a comfortable, personalised studio experience.

Role OverviewWe are looking for a skilled, friendly, and client-focused Makeup Artist who can provide professional makeup services while ensuring our clients feel comfortable, confident, and well cared for throughout their photoshoot experience.

The role goes beyond makeup application. The candidate should be attentive to clients' needs, guide them during the photoshoot, coordinate with the photography team, and ensure every client has a pleasant and memorable experience at our studio.

Key Responsibilities

1. Makeup & Grooming

• Provide professional makeup services for maternity and baby photoshoot clients.
• Understand client preferences and suggest suitable makeup looks based on their outfits, themes, and photoshoot concepts.
• Ensure makeup is neat, natural, camera-friendly, and long-lasting.
• Assist with basic hair grooming and styling for female clients, wherever required.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of makeup products, brushes, tools, and the makeup room.

2. Client Care & Assistance

• Welcome clients warmly and make them feel comfortable at the studio.
• Take special care of expecting mothers and new mothers, understanding their comfort and individual requirements.
• Assist clients with outfit changes, gown adjustments, and basic grooming.
• Ensure clients are comfortable during makeup sessions and throughout the photoshoot.
• Be patient, polite, attentive, and supportive while interacting with clients.

3. Photoshoot Coordination

• Guide clients with basic posing instructions, expressions, and body positioning during photoshoots.
• Help clients feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera.
• Coordinate with photographers and the production team to ensure smooth transitions between themes and outfits.
• Assist with touch-ups and makeup corrections between different setups.
• Ensure clients are photo-ready before each shoot.

4. Studio Management

• Keep the makeup room organised and ready for every client.
• Monitor makeup inventory and inform the management when products need replenishment.
• Follow studio schedules and ensure clients are ready for their scheduled photoshoot sessions.
• Follow the studio's service standards and operational procedures.
• Required Skills & QualificationsProfessional makeup skills with a good understanding of different skin types and tones.
• Experience in bridal, party, fashion, or professional makeup will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, patient, and service-oriented personality.
• Ability to handle clients with care, especially pregnant women and new mothers.
• Basic understanding of photography makeup and camera-friendly finishes.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the studio's makeup standards.
