Network Engineer

Role Summary

Experienced Network Engineer responsible for implementing, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure using Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper technologies. Ensure high availability, security, and optimal network performance across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and data center environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Cisco, Aruba, and Juniper network devices, including routers, switches, wireless controllers, and access points.
• Design and manage enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
• Implement and maintain Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, EtherChannel/LACP, and trunking.
• Configure and manage Layer 3 services including inter-VLAN routing, HSRP/VRRP, ACLs, NAT, and DHCP.
• Deploy and support Aruba wireless solutions, including Aruba Mobility Controllers, Instant Access Points, Aruba Central.
• Configure and manage Juniper devices using Junos OS, including routing, switching and security policies.
• Monitor network health using network monitoring and management tools, identify issues proactively, and perform root cause analysis.
• Implement network security best practices, including AAA, 802.1X, VPNs, port security, and access control policies.
• Perform firmware upgrades, backups, disaster recovery planning, and change management.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
• Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support and participate in on-call support when required.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of  Juniper/Cisco/Aruba routing and switching technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Aruba wired and wireless networking solutions.
• Experience with Juniper routing, switching, and Junos OS.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and multicast.
• Knowledge of routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and RIP.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

·        Solid understanding of IP addressing schemas and subnetting.

·        Troubleshoot, operate, and maintain HPE Aruba Networking solutions.

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA / CCNP Enterprise
• Aruba Certified Switching Professional (ACSP) or Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
• Juniper JNCIA-Junos / JNCIS-ENT / JNCIP-ENT
