Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage daily fleet operations (vehicle movement, trip planning, dispatch)
- Coordinate with drivers for timely pickup and delivery
- Ensure proper vehicle allocation based on business requirements
- Track vehicles using GPS and ensure route optimization
- Maintain records of fuel consumption, mileage, and expenses
- Handle vehicle maintenance schedules, servicing, and repairs
- Ensure all vehicles have valid documents (RC, Insurance, Fitness, Permits)
- Monitor driver behavior, attendance, and performance
- Resolve operational issues like delays, breakdowns, and route deviations
- Coordinate with clients/customers for delivery updates
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and transport regulations
Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of logistics and fleet management
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask
- Knowledge of GPS tracking systems
