Daily Responsibilities

• Prescription Support: Receive orders, count and package pills, and print labels under a pharmacist's supervision.
• Inventory Management: Restock shelves, check expiration dates, and order new supplies.
• Customer Service: Greet patients, answer phone calls, and direct complex medical questions to the pharmacist.
• Administrative Work: Update patient files, handle cash registers, and process billing.
• Dispensing Support: Help gather, count, and pack medicines from shelves strictly under a pharmacist's supervision. [1, 2]
• Inventory Control: Check stock levels, track batch numbers, verify expiry dates, and restock shelves. [1, 2]
• Billing & Cash Handling: Operate cash registers, process digital or cash payments, and cross-check issued items with bills. [1, 2]
• Customer Service: Greet customers, locate over-the-counter items, and direct complex medical questions to the registered pharmacist. [1, 2, 3]
• Record Keeping: Maintain paper files or enter prescription data into computerized pharmacy software systems. [1]
