Production Supervisor

We are looking for a responsible and hands-on Production & Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities of our soap and puja products business. The person will be responsible for managing production, manpower, raw materials, inventory, logistics, and dispatch while ensuring that work is completed efficiently and on time.

The ideal candidate should be organized, accountable, and capable of independently managing the shop floor and coordinating with different teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage day-to-day production activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Plan and coordinate manufacturing schedules based on orders and business requirements.
• Manage and allocate manpower effectively across different production activities.
• Monitor availability and usage of raw materials, packaging materials, and other production resources.
• Maintain proper inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
• Coordinate inward and outward movement of materials and finished products.
• Oversee packing, storage, dispatch, and logistics operations.
• Ensure finished products meet the required quality and quantity standards before dispatch.
• Maintain proper records of production, inventory, wastage, dispatches, and material usage.
• Monitor wastage, damages, and unnecessary consumption of resources and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, vendors, and internal teams whenever required.
• Ensure the workplace, machinery, equipment, and production area are maintained properly.
• Identify operational issues and resolve them promptly to avoid delays in production or dispatch.
• Take complete responsibility for the resources, materials, equipment, and manpower under their supervision.
• Ensure discipline, safety, and adherence to company processes among workers.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding production, inventory, logistics, and operational issues.
