Project Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Architect / Interior Designer with an architecture background to handle residential and commercial interior projects from concept to execution.

The candidate should be capable of developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, coordinating with clients and site teams, and ensuring that the final execution matches the approved design.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Concept Development

Develop architectural and interior design concepts based on client requirements.

Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, ceiling designs, flooring layouts and material concepts.

Develop mood boards, material selections and design presentations.

Create practical and execution-friendly designs within project budgets.

2. Drawings & Documentation

Prepare detailed working drawings and construction drawings.

Prepare plans, elevations, sections, furniture details and ceiling layouts.

Prepare electrical, plumbing and other coordination drawings wherever required.

Prepare detailed drawings for custom furniture, partitions, wall panelling, false ceilings and other interior elements.

Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated and suitable for site execution.

3. 3D & Presentation

Prepare 3D models and realistic renders for client presentations.

Develop design presentations and material boards.

Modify designs based on client feedback and project requirements.

4. Site Coordination

Regularly visit project sites and coordinate with site engineers, contractors and vendors.

Explain drawings and design details to the execution team.

Check whether site execution is as per approved drawings and specifications.

Identify design or execution issues and provide practical solutions.

Take site measurements and update drawings when required.

5. Client Coordination

Understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.

Present concepts, drawings, materials and finishes to clients.

Coordinate design revisions and obtain necessary approvals.

Maintain professional communication with clients throughout the project.

6. Material & Vendor Coordination

Assist in selecting materials, finishes, hardware, sanitaryware, lighting and other interior products.

Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for design-related requirements.

Review material samples and ensure they match the approved design.

7. Project Coordination

Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Designers, vendors and contractors.

Ensure drawings and design decisions are released on time.

Track design-related project requirements and revisions.

Support the team in maintaining quality, timelines and project standards.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

Good knowledge of SketchUp / 3ds Max / Revit or similar 3D software.

Knowledge of V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of interior materials, finishes and construction methods.

Understanding of furniture and modular detailing.

Good understanding of architectural and interior drawings.

Ability to read and understand site conditions and measurements.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Strong design sense with practical execution knowledge.

Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.

Preferred Candidate

Architecture background with strong interest in interiors.

Experience in residential and commercial interior projects.

Good combination of design + technical drawing + site execution knowledge.

Ability to take a project from concept → drawings → client approval → site execution.

Good attention to detail and ability to identify execution issues before they become problems.
