Sales Engineer

About the Role

We are hiring for Sales Engineer, with prior experience of selling Industrial Products to heavy industries such as Steel, Power, Mining, Cement, Railways. You own the territory: new customer acquisition, key account growth and collections.

Key Responsibilities

* Generate new business from industrial customers

* Develop and grow key accounts in your assigned territory

* Handle the full cycle: enquiry, quotation, negotiation, order closure and delivery follow-up

* Work with the technical and maintenance teams on customer requirements and custom enquiries

* Drive sales and achieve monthly targets.

* Generate new business through market mapping.

* Conduct product demonstrations, market visits.

* Ensure strong product visibility, distribution and market penetration.

* Share market insights and sales reports with management.

* Track competitor pricing and market trends

* Maintain a weekly visit plan, pipeline and reports in the CRM

* Collect payments on time and manage receivables

Requirements

* 2-5 years of prior industrial sales experience

* Existing relationships with customers in Steel, Power, Mining, Cement, Railways

* Good communication and inter-personal skills

* Good negotiation, follow-up and communication skills (English plus regional language)

* Willing to travel within the territory

* Graduate/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; any graduate with relevant experience is acceptable
