Job Description
A jewellery sales executive manages customer consultations, showroom displays, and transactions in a retail jewellery store to meet individual and store sales targets.
Core Roles and Responsibilities
- Customer Consultation & Sales:
- Greet walk-in customers warmly and assess their occasion, preferences, and budget.
- Showcase suitable gold, diamond, silver, or gemstone jewellery pieces.
- Drive sales conversion, upselling (e.g., matching earrings, chains), and cross-selling.
- Product & Technical Education:
- Explain gold purity (e.g., 22K, 18K), diamond quality (4Cs: cut, color, clarity, carat), weight (gross and net), hallmarking, and making charges.
- Clearly break down price calculations based on the daily bullion rate, wastage, and taxes. [1, 2]
- Showroom & Inventory Management:
- Maintain clean, attractive, and secure displays at assigned counters
