Site Supervisor

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities at construction and interior project sites. The candidate will be responsible for supervising workers, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities at the project site and ensure smooth execution of work.
• Coordinate with contractors, workers, vendors, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Allocate work to workers and monitor their performance and productivity.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within timelines.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify any issues or delays.
• Maintain records of materials, manpower, work progress, and site activities.
• Coordinate material requirements and ensure timely availability at the site.
• Check the quality of construction, civil, fabrication, or interior work as applicable.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials at the site.
• Follow and enforce safety rules and procedures at the project site.
• Resolve day-to-day site issues and coordinate with management for major concerns.
• Prepare daily or periodic site progress reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of site operations, construction methods, and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand drawings and project specifications.
• Good manpower and contractor management skills.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and site reporting is an advantage.

Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in construction, civil, interior, fabrication, or related site supervision is preferred.
