Job Description
Position: Solar Site Engineer / Solar Technician – Fresher
Location: Shivamogga / Davangere / Karnataka
Experience: Fresher – 0 to 1 year
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking freshers to join our solar project team. The candidate will support solar PV installation, electrical work, site supervision, quality inspection, testing and commissioning activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in solar PV module installation and mounting structure work.
Support DC and AC cable laying, dressing and termination.
Assist in inverter, ACDB, DCDB and other electrical equipment installation.
Support earthing and lightning protection installation.
Check module mounting, structure alignment and bolt tightening.
Follow approved drawings, method statements and safety procedures.
Assist with electrical testing and commissioning activities.
Maintain daily site records, checklists and progress reports.
Coordinate with installation teams, subcontractors and site engineers.
Identify basic quality and safety issues at site and report them to the senior engineer.
Travel to project sites whenever required.
Eligibility
Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or related field.
Freshers are welcome.
Basic knowledge of electrical concepts is preferred.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and documentation is an advantage.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work at solar project sites.
Willingness to travel within Karnataka.
