Waiter / Steward

Job Summary We are looking for a courteous and efficient Steward to maintain cleanliness and provide support in dining and service areas. The ideal candidate will assist in food service, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.

• Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness in dining, kitchen, and service areas.
• Assist in setting up tables and arranging dining equipment.
• Serve food and beverages to guests, as directed.
• Collect used dishes, cutlery, and glassware and ensure proper cleaning.
• Support kitchen staff and chefs in food preparation and service.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times.
• Report any shortages, damages, or maintenance issues to supervisors.
• Assist in stock management of cutlery, crockery, and other service items.
• Ensure a pleasant and courteous experience for guests.
• Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 10th pass (preferred, can vary by employer).
• Prior experience as a steward in restaurants, hotels, or catering services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
