Warden

We are looking for a responsible, approachable, and disciplined College Warden to oversee the overall administration, safety, discipline, and well-being of students residing in the college/hostel premises.

The Warden will be responsible for maintaining a safe and positive living environment, ensuring adherence to hostel rules, addressing student concerns, and coordinating with the college administration, parents, and other stakeholders whenever required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the hostel/residential facility and ensure smooth functioning.
• Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with hostel and college rules.
• Monitor student attendance, movement, check-ins/check-outs, and leave permissions.
• Act as the first point of contact for students regarding hostel-related concerns, emergencies, and grievances.
• Ensure the safety, security, hygiene, and overall well-being of students.
• Regularly inspect hostel premises, rooms, common areas, and facilities to identify and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other support staff to ensure proper hostel operations.
• Maintain accurate records related to student attendance, leave, incidents, complaints, and hostel activities.
• Handle student grievances in a calm, fair, and professional manner and escalate serious matters to the appropriate authority.
• Communicate with parents/guardians when required regarding student discipline, attendance, emergencies, or other concerns.
• Coordinate with college management and academic/administrative teams on student-related matters.
• Monitor adherence to hostel timings, visitor policies, and other residential guidelines.
• Ensure appropriate action is taken in case of disciplinary violations, emergencies, or safety concerns.
• Conduct regular rounds and ensure that students are following hostel guidelines.
• Support the college in organizing student activities, events, and residential programs when required.
• Take ownership of any other student welfare or hostel-related responsibilities assigned by the management.
