## Operations lead / Floor In-Charge

### About SPIN CYCLES

SPIN CYCLES is a professional laundry and garment care company serving Bengaluru since 2014. We operate a large-scale laundry processing facility supporting multiple retail outlets across the city.

We are looking for a **highly disciplined, system-oriented and result-driven Operations Lead / Floor In-Charge** who can independently manage factory floor operations, lead large teams, improve productivity and take complete ownership of the dispatch process.

### 1. Key Responsibilities

**A. Factory Floor Operations**

* Independently manage finishing, folding, packaging, sorting and dispatch operations.

* Supervise and coordinate 50+ employees across multiple processes.

* Ensure smooth workflow between departments without bottlenecks.

* Monitor daily production targets, productivity, quality and turnaround times.

* Ensure strict implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

* Maintain high standards of discipline, housekeeping and workplace organization.

**B. Dispatch & Logistics Management**

* Take end-to-end operational ownership of every item dispatched from the factory to retail outlets.

* Ensure 100% barcode scanning, verification and accurate dispatch documentation.

* Prevent missing items, wrong-store dispatches, unscanned items and shipment discrepancies.

* Plan and coordinate vehicle routing, dispatch schedules and loading.

* Coordinate with drivers, van assistants, store teams and factory departments.

* Track factory dispatch, vehicle movement and outlet receipt confirmation.

* Investigate and resolve dispatch discrepancies with documented root causes and corrective actions.

* Ensure on-time dispatch to all assigned retail outlets.

**C. People Management & Leadership**

* Lead, manage and motivate a workforce of 50+ employees.

* Conduct daily team briefings covering targets, priorities, pending work and operational issues.

* Allocate manpower based on workload, employee capability and process requirements.

* Track individual employee productivity, attendance and performance.

* Identify underperforming employees and implement corrective measures.

* Handle employee discipline, conflicts, training and performance improvement.

* Develop team leaders and supervisors to ensure smooth operations across shifts.

* Establish clear accountability for each process and assigned employee.

**D. MIS, Systems & Reporting**

* Maintain accurate daily MIS reports for production, productivity, dispatch and operational performance.

* Demonstrate excellent working knowledge of Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookups, formulas, data analysis and reporting.

* Confidently operate ERP, POS, barcode scanning and other operational management systems.

* Track pending items, SLA misses, dispatch delays, employee productivity and operational exceptions.

* Ensure all operational activities are updated in the system in real time.

* Prepare daily and weekly performance reports for management.

* Analyse operational data to identify recurring problems and opportunities for improvement.

* Ensure decisions are supported by accurate system data rather than verbal updates or assumptions.

**E. Process Ownership & Accountability**

* Take complete ownership of assigned factory floor operations from finishing through dispatch and outlet receipt confirmation.

* Ensure that every item is properly processed, verified, packed, scanned and dispatched.

* Establish clear responsibility for missing items, incorrect dispatches, reprocessing and operational failures.

* Ensure every exception has an identified root cause, responsible person, corrective action and closure status.

* Proactively escalate critical issues before they affect service commitments.

* Drive continuous improvement in productivity, accuracy, quality and turnaround time.

### 2. Required Skills & Competencies

**Mandatory Requirements**

* Proven experience managing 20+ employees.

* Strong people management, leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MIS reporting.

* Excellent computer literacy and ability to learn ERP/POS systems quickly.

* Strong understanding of process management, workflow optimization and operational controls.

* Experience managing dispatch, inventory movement, logistics coordination or production operations.

* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict daily deadlines.

* Strong problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.

* Hands-on leadership approach with a high level of ownership and accountability.

* Ability to conduct structured daily briefings and communicate clear instructions.

### 3. Preferred Industry Background

Prior laundry experience is **not required**.

Candidates with relevant operational leadership experience from the following industries are encouraged to apply:

* E-commerce fulfilment and warehouse operations

* Logistics and distribution centres

* Garment or textile manufacturing

* FMCG production and packaging

* Large-scale manufacturing or assembly operations

* Retail supply chain and dispatch operations

**We value operational discipline, leadership ability and strong system knowledge more than laundry industry experience.**

### 5. Ideal Candidate Profile

* Does not depend on verbal follow-ups to manage operations.

* Can establish discipline and productivity while maintaining positive employee relationships.

* Has the ability to transform a people-dependent operation into a structured, system-driven operation.
