JOB DESCRIPTION: Assistant Manager – Ground Transport Technology

Job Location: Kadubeesanahalli, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore

Designation: Assistant Manager – Ground Transport Technology

Educational Qualification: Graduation Mandatory

Experience Required: 7+years Minimum

Shift Timings:  Rotational Shifts

Work Schedule:  6 Days/week

Specific Skills: This Assistant Manager position is a technology-focused role, serving as the bridge between ground transport operations and the technology partner. The candidate will handle asset management and must be able to generate data analysis. Expertise in one of the technology tools such as MoveInSync, RouteMatic, SafeTrack, and TMS is required.

What this job involves

• You'll manage the technology tools and applications supporting employee transport operations, acting as the key link between operations and tech support teams. This includes raising and tracking incident tickets, coordinating root-cause investigations, validating fixes, and recommending improvements to reduce recurring issues.
• You'll also own employee transport projects end-to-end, from requirement gathering and planning through execution and post-implementation review. This involves maintaining project trackers, aligning stakeholders and vendors, managing risks and dependencies, and ensuring documentation and reporting stay up to date.
• Additionally, you'll analyze operational data to spot trends, inefficiencies, and risks, and run scenario-based simulations to assess the impact of proposed changes. Your insights will support data-driven decisions, pre- and post-implementation performance comparisons, and continuous improvement efforts.

Core Competencies

Transport operations management, technology support coordination, incident/ticket management, project planning and execution, stakeholder and vendor management, data analysis and simulation, risk mitigation, and process improvement.

Good Communicator

Fluent in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills across colleagues, clients, and vendors.
