Job Summary
Zetbasket is looking for energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executives (BDEs) who will be responsible for identifying and onboarding local merchants, developing strong business relationships, expanding Zetbasket's merchant network, and driving business growth in their assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and approach potential merchants, retailers, supermarkets, grocery stores and other local businesses.
Explain Zetbasket's business model, platform benefits and merchant partnership opportunities.
Generate leads through field visits, market research, referrals and local networking.
Convert prospective merchants into active Zetbasket partners.
Complete merchant onboarding, documentation and basic platform orientation.
Maintain strong relationships with existing merchants and regularly follow up with them.
Help merchants understand how Zetbasket can improve their visibility, customer reach and sales.
Coordinate with Operations, Merchant Onboarding, Marketing and Customer Support teams.
Identify new markets, commercial areas and business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Maintain daily records of leads, meetings, follow-ups, conversions and merchant activation.
Achieve weekly and monthly merchant acquisition and business development targets.
Collect market feedback and competitor information and report it to management.
Candidate Requirements
Education: Graduate preferred; candidates with strong field-sales experience may also be considered.
Experience: 0–3 years in Business Development, Field Sales, Merchant Acquisition, FMCG, Fintech, E-commerce, Retail, Telecom or related industries.
