Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Collaboration with different teams and continuous refinement of software elements to enhance performance and functionality are key aspects of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices in software development to ensure quality and maintainability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align software solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Microsoft Azure Databricks, Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques.
- Experience in designing scalable data architectures to support complex applications.
- Ability to analyze and optimize data flows and storage for performance improvements.
- Familiarity with integrating data models into software development lifecycles.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Data Modeling Techniques and Methodologies.
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI location.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
