Job Description

Hiring: Helper Cook for Fast-Paced Cafe

We are looking for an energetic and reliable Helper Cook to join our kitchen team! If you are passionate about food prep, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and take pride in keeping a kitchen clean and organized, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the head chef with daily meal preparation, chopping vegetables, and prepping ingredients.
  • Operate basic kitchen equipment and cook simple menu items.
  • Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in all prep and cooking areas.
  • Keep the kitchen stocked, clean, and organized throughout the shift.
  • Manage station dishwashing and waste disposal as needed.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a cafe or restaurant kitchen preferred (training available for the right candidate).
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and knife safety skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak rush hours.
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude and good punctuality.
