Job Summary

The Loss Spoke Person will be responsible for monitoring and controlling operational losses at the assigned spoke/hub. The role involves identifying loss cases, coordinating investigations, maintaining records, following up on recoveries, and ensuring proper adherence to loss-prevention processes.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor daily operations to identify potential loss, theft, fraud, and shipment discrepancies.

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all loss-related cases at the assigned spoke.

Track missing, damaged, short, or mismatched shipments and initiate necessary action.

Coordinate with the Operations, LPO, Hub Team, and concerned managers for investigation and resolution.

Verify shipment records, scan details, inventory, handover records, and other relevant documents.

Support CCTV verification and investigation whenever required.

Maintain proper records of all loss cases, recoveries, and pending investigations.

Follow up regularly on open loss cases until closure.

Ensure timely reporting of loss incidents to the concerned management.

Identify process gaps responsible for losses and suggest corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with company SOPs related to shipment handling, handover, security, and loss prevention.

Assist in audits and physical verification whenever required.

Maintain confidentiality of investigation and loss-related information.

Required Skills

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong observation and analytical ability.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.

Ability to maintain accurate records and follow up on pending cases.

Good understanding of hub/spoke operations.

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential cases professionally.
